I gotta ask....WHY????? do you persist with this bloke. If there's a worst defensive centre in the Nrl then I havent seen him. He and finch combined are the poster boys for "dumb & dumber". Hagen's got a week to sort that sh*te out before the Manly boys put 50 on you blokes.
Reddy has been great for us this year, better than our 'flashier' backs
ffs don't u know anything? - its all eric's fault!! - even when he's playing for wenty

reddy does some very good mopping up work in defense - he's saved plenty of tries over the last month or so ... but he does have a tendancy to be quite soft and read the play bad aswell

whether ppl like to admit it or not, we miss ben smith defensively in the centres - yes ben makes some mistakes too, everyone does, but i think ben is still a much better defender out wide than anyone else at the club

btw - did we all enjoy jarryd's "eric moment" last night - running in taking noone, as hegarty strole away to the corner .... there's issues out there on those wings - probably not just the wingers fault after all
Don't forget the knock-on in goal

I hope Guru has a big one today...we definitely need him back.
He did pretty good from where I was sitting, including a 95 odd metre intercept try

Yet he is still the best (on current form) centre/wing/fullback at the club

Hayne, Burt, Inu and Tautai MUST BE dropped before even thinking of maybe starting to considering dropping Reddy

In my opinion, Tautai has done nothing to suggest he is a first grade quality player. I'm hoping he may improve as it seems no-one is there chomping at the bit to get his spot.

Inu in my opinion hasn't done anything wrong since coming back. Give the bloke a break.

didn't say Inu deserves to be dropped

just that he should be dropped before Reddy

Hayne, Burt and Tautai are a different story

Soeaking of TAutai how funny are those articles from early in the year when Hagan and Hayden came out and said Tautai is the next Folau before the game against the Dogs

I actually rate Tautai still. He always makes alot of metres in attack. I think he's being played out of position on the wing because he seems a bit slow and lazy when it comes to turning around and chasing and diving on loose balls.

Reddy deserves a spot, but I'm not convinced that centre is the best position for him. The good defence he has demonstrated in recent months has mostly been great covering and run down tackles, rather than exemplary centre defence.

Reddy
Inu
Mateo
Hindmarsh
Cayless
Riddell
Matt Keating
Moi Moi

These are the only guys who have showed the skills, talent and - most importantly - commitment to deserve a spot in the starting 17.

By way of clarification ... in terms of Riddell, I kept him not so much for his dummy half work, but because his performance as a running forward has been good enough to make him a good option for one of the two hooking roles.

That doesn't mean that the people on that list have been great ... just first grade standard.

1 - ?
2 - Reddy
3 - Inu
4 - ?
5 - ?
6 - ?
7 - ?
8 - Cayless
9 - Riddell/Keating
10 - ?
11 - Hindmarsh
12 - ?
13 - Mateo

14 - Riddell/Keating
15 - Moi Moi
16 - ?
17 - ?

I think it would be MORE THAN REASONABLE for most of those question marks to be players who did not play against the Storm and the Rabbitohs.

Penrith and Souths are just two examples of teams who are benefitting from giving youth a run.

SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN.

Still leaving his wing I see. What happens if he misses the intercept?

exactly Pete, for every intercept he takes he lets in 30 tries.

As i've said before, it's pointless bringin him back unless the coaches have rectified his defensive problems.

Geez people have short memories....

R U KIDDING????

Reddy has been the only highlight of the back four exclusion of Krisnan in the broncos game.

How hard was it watching Tautai and Inu watch south fall on that ball to score. Talking about unmotivated. Go back to Jim beam cup.

Tautai and Burt will be back there this week. Inu to fullback grothe and williams back to knock on manlys doorstep!!!

GO EELSSSSS!!!!
