Redfern Oval

One thing that I wasn't aware of when I went through the statistics and archives was that Souths played 3 games at Redfern Oval in 1996 (9 yrs after they left it for Aussie Stadium). The crowds at Refern in '96 were 4015, 4576 and 3107. What I was wandering is has anyone been to a first grade match at Redfern Oval, did anyone go to any of those 3 games in '96 at Redfern and do you think Souths will ever play any first grade games or ever go back to Redfern (from Telstra Stadium)?

been to many games at Redfern Oval loved the placed.

Went to pretty much every home game there from 1982 onwards.

used to always sit on the scoreboard side next to the corner posts.

always ran on at fulltime to try and get the post (never did). and always felt like part of a huge family if you had the red and green on.

used to love giving it to ref Mick Stone he always hated souths. Loved seeing mario and Benny go at it.

will we ever play at redern again.... sadly i dont think so.

Was one of these games vs South Queensland Crushers? That was my only game i saw at redfern
