I don't get too much into this future stuff, but both Wellington and Christchurch together is not sustainable. You would be far better off with the Southern Orcas sharing home games between both Wellington and Christchurch.

a world comp is the solution and the first code that does it will reap the rewards. could you imagine the Beijing Panda's v Queensland Cane Cutters in Beijing in front of 120,000 + fans and billlions watching live on TV/Cable/internet etc

That's why super leagued failed they needed to locate teams in these countries such as china/india etc
