Ref and Bunker Decisions

One of my personal hobby horses in the 75th minute. Berry penalised for not being straight at marker and the right call. But it was no better or worse than every second marker in every tackle.

GET. THEM.STRAIGHT!!!

But we've seen what happens when the NRL tries to actually enforce a rule all the time.
Phool Gould reckons "It's ruining the game", and leads his minions Freddy and Joey to whip the sycophantic media into a frenzy until the refs are told by their bosses to back off.

Last week was probably the worst the reffing has been against us, thankfully we overcame it to win

Remember that bunker pearler where they inexplicably ignored the high shot on Collins and then they charged the bloke. Sutton telling Keary with only 10 seconds left to use a ball in the spares bucket then blowing a penalty was a good chuckle to and then the next night the same thing happens and time is blown off. Oh and let's not forget when Sutton let Gagai take a quick tap but he got smacked, losing the ball and then he calls it back lol
The delusions of a Roosters fan.

Despite the Aloiai ruling last week vs Warriors it seems attacking the legs of kickers is back on the menu this week.

Never change NRL.

47th minute sezer penalised for not square. I've had a few beers but watched several replays and can't see the problem.

Anyone?

Never mind. Just saw sezer guide dogging but the dh went open and then ducked back into his tackle.

Yep, fair call but please...most markers are far worse and not policed.

Give me strength...

Absolutely, but the NRL should grow a pair. I'm available if they need someone to put Gus in his box.

They can spend all the money they want, but unless it’s a black & white decision, human emotion will affect the decision, and then there’s the ones that are just plain “WTF are they looking at”

The Roosters were unhappy with two calls. The NRL is looking at three that hurt Melbourne

Two Roosters knock-ons in the final 10 minutes of their loss on Thursday night, and a James Tedesco trip, are under the microscope.

I love how the NRLs defence is basically the referees were actually worse than you think as if that makes it ok.

I mean its true mistakes go both ways. Coaches / media regularly blow up over an incident or two when there were many more the other way also wrong. Theoretically it goes close to evening out.

But for that to be the NRLs defence is hilarious. Our officials arent biased. They’re useless. Here look at all these other f**k ups as proof.

Isn't that the journos opinion? I can't see one quote from the NRL there

Tigers lost a game in 2016 if I remember correctly, golden point 10m out in front of the sticks. klien gifts the Bronx a penalty for markers not square. The markers were square.

the tigers are still the only club to have been penalised for being offside charging down a field goal in golden point. to make it worse its happened twice

Or the debacle against the cowboys. The bunker actually made up a new rule and then f**ked the whole thing up

The Tigers are the only team I know that can have 3 players on report and only give away 1 penalty for a marker not square in a game!
