Refereeing & Touch Judge in the same round

Noticed that Shayne Hayne was a touch judge in the Sharks v Cowboys match tonight.

He is also refereeing the Parramatta v Souths match on Monday.

Steve Lyons did the same thing last weekend

I can't remember seeing this happen very often in previous seasons.

Can anyone ?

It happens in juniors all the time, They ref one game then run the line for the next one on Saturday and do the same again on Sunday. Even do the line in Jim Beam Cup on Saturday and again on Sunday in PL.

Maksoud and Jadtwat are the worst referees I have ever seen

Mate, you didn't see much of Maksoud & Jadwat then.

Tony Archer, Steve Lyons and Shayne Hayne have at least managed a decent game occassionly.

The only reason Jadwat & got anywhere near top level refereeing was because of the Stupid League / ARL split competitions in 1997.

Jadwat's debut match refereeing First Grade was Souths v Illawarra in 1997
It should have been his last.
