Chris Ward in the video box? We have not had one decision from him go our way this year.

Mander was great for us against Canberra. I have no problem with him. The players will win or lose the game not the ref ( I hope)

Seems to me most you guys/girls dont like ANY ref we get. The ref cant change the amount of missed tackles or dropped balls we make pretty much every game. We havent been getting as many penalties called against us this year compared to last year.

The only thing i can think of that stinks when it comes to the ref is the amount of 50/50's that go against us. Might as well call them 90/10's FFS...

Whatever ref we get, noone will be happy with..
Put it this way, so far, Mander has been the best for us of a bad bunch..
Matt Cecchin and Chris Ward are the worries..

My main gripe here lies with the wannabe Cecchin on the line, and that stupid pr!ck Ward in the video box.

Cecchin runs on at every opportunity, and quite often has nothing.

Ward has not given the Sharks one 50/50 call this year. He is the main offender when it comes to 'benefit of the doubt' calls going against us. The when the opposition have a 50/50 he gives them the points. In all honesty, I think he'd get more calls right if he was watching Home & Away instead of the game.


As for Mander, I'll give him "WooHoo". Bloody Queenslander!!!

I feel sorry for Nige... exactly how many tries has he missed out on with Chris Ward as video ref?

I'd much rather Mander than Simpleton, he has a better grasp of the rules and seems to control the games better.

The worrying thing about Mander, is that the last time he refereed the Roosters -
Manly - 22
Roosters - 18
And everyone remembers what happened in that game.. Hopefully he doesn't go out to try and get in their good books..

Good news is that we have had Mander twice this season for two wins:
38-6 v Cowboys, and;
32-36 v Raiders.

(as oppossed to 4 matches and 4 losses under Simpkins)

Furthermore, at least Matty C will be nice and close to the boys on beer hill. I hope you have been doing your vocal exercises King.
