You can't know for sure either way. They might have looked great at the back end of the season against the poor sides.
Segeyaro on the bench instead of Hardaker. Soward having Moylan and Cleary taking pressure off him and Cartwright playing his natural game.
I doubt much changes. We probably win the same games. Lose the same ones. The main difference is while doing that we were also building towards 2017. Segeyaro could have had a few years in him if he got his head on straight . But Soward definitely didn't.
The finals series should do a lot to help our young guys. Experiencing a win and a loss. Seeing how hard teams will come at you. Learning that you need to make the most of your chances etc.
I think its good for them to have lost the way they did. They were gutted and thats going to be the motivation to improve.
