So many things to worry about in the world. These flops ain't one of them. I enjoyed the Tits game, but haven't watched since. I more than likely won't. This squad is stale as f**k and needs change.

Would love to agree but this club is a huge part of peoples lives. Not the most important thing in the world yes, but it means so much to some of us that we come on here and vent to each other. This is a safe space for that.

Absolutely… our games are an escape from all of those ‘more important’ things in life.

Unfortunately though, our escape is sometimes more frustrating than real life issues.

I see that side too. I've got the tattoo. I used to get splinters in my arse sitting on the rotten wooden benches at Endeavour Field. I lived in Woolooware. But...my mental and physical health can't tolerate the shite they dish up. I'm better off living vicariously through you blokes!

Spot on G.
Can’t really bear the NRL in its current form, but still cling to the random rants on here.
It’s a game, but so is life.
Time to get a red wine

I love the club, but I could see last year was our chance the comp was weak, Panthers were exhausted going into, lost so many players.
Broncos did a Bradbury to win.
We had more players who were going to go backwards than those improve.
Look at the storm game in finals first 30 min stefo vs AFB, our man got out gunned for a guy on less money.
And how our team let Hughes back from major injury cruise around the field

We're always very accommodating of opposition halves. Look at how they let Shaun Johnston swan off into retirement on a high.

I said 6 weeks ago we would win it this year.
I genuinely believed it. For a number of reasons, one being a mature, close group who will be disbanded at seasons end and a determination to make it happen.
And who knows maybe they do.

Had friends over last night and was only sparingly watching the game which I had on in the background.

Caught some glimpses of:
AFB dropping a ball.
Ramien being Ramien.
Tricky's ineffective kicks.
Brayley refusing to run.
Herbie toying with defenders.
A redcliffe team that is hit and miss being made to look like finalists.

In the small grabs I got, the only positive I saw was stonestreets try.

Im certainly well and truly over analysing this side.
Ramien.
The 6 and 7.
The coach.
Blah blah.
Waste of time.
Groundhog day.
Achieves nothing because the issues and deficiencies are ingrained.
Muscle memory.
Nothing will change.

I also said a few weeks ago mcplod would not start for us again.
I believed we improved when he got injured and we had moved on and he would come off the bench as a respectful farewell.

But he will start.
The culture the coach has set reveals the mindset. Do not change anything. Even if you know it doesn't work, do not change it.
I haven't watched a presser in 12 months for obvious reasons.
I used to think it was holding cards close to his chest and giving nothing away.
It isnt.
He genuinely lacks the insight to dissect the technical deficiencies of a performance.

I had a look at our Facebook page this morning.
Haven't done that before.
There's a post which has the score from last night.

All commenting- bagging out - on the same thing as on the Match Day thread here:
The coach.
Ramien and the usual offenders getting picked every week.
Hynes. Its obvious anybody who knows 1 thing about RL know this bloke is not a 7.
Nor a 6.
Including his previous coach, bellyache.

I also love the sharks and look forward to the game each week.
But when its done time is better served doing other things than analysing the same lame performances 26 weeks a year.

I got nothing to say about last night except we were shit and we got beaten at home by a team which have no real winning DNA and are a shandy off the Cowboys who are wooden spoon contenders.

Just a lame, heartless, unacceptable performance by a blokes who are well paid to do one thing.
A couple even get a million dollars a year for their continued failures.

I'm at the point with Hynes where I don't even see him as first grade material. He's about as useful as the leagues club as in just an absolute drain of money.

Lets just look at Trindall and how he would feel, he runs the team, the so called experts say this on Fox.
But then yes and some say it's just a number but he wears the 6 not the 7.
For him he deserves to have the 7 on his back, but Fitz won't take it off Hynes.
Make the call Fitz, we have seen Hynes for last couple of years I believe he would see it as a challenge now being the 6, not a down grade and if he did then he can leave.
I am saying this because any other team Trindall would be the 7

That squad of 19 yesterday, how many of those players have come to the club after Fitz has been here.
Stonestreet * but he was probably in juniors
AFB
Kaufisi
Burns

I believe that is it, some were in jets system but that is all, no there club has done that and what have we won nothing couple top 4 finishes.

Utter garbage. Any bloke who’s earned an ordinary game it’s him. Please refrain from dropping him the same basket as some of the other imposters.

He was pretty ordinary last week as well.
But yes, AFB is not where I’d be directing my ire at the moment.

For mine, allowing for AFB having an off night, Toby was our second best middle.

That speaks volumes for where we’re at.
