Early in the week but there's 2 of interest here for me... Boom Time Savings was a decent run 2nd behind Plagiarize in the Silver Slipper. Probably the only other one to 'follow' from that race. It's not in the Golden Slipper markets though... Does that mean they will have to pay a late nom fee or something if they want in?

The other is Mirror Mirror. Once again on the Plagiarize form. She beat Plagiarize by 2.5 lengths when both horses had their first race starts. Plagiarize a nice run and a touch unlucky. Mirror had a let up then came out 2 starts later and won the Magic Millions with a storming finish. This form is as good as any for the 2 year olds at the moment although Churchill Downs may have bought that down a bit. But I'm taking it on face value and thinking this filly is superior to it...

yeah BOOM TIME SAVINGS has got some nice form around her coming 2nd to upper echelon, regreagan and plagiarize. so she could be a show

but i think i might be going with MISS FINLAND. won first 2 starts and then 2nd to nadeem in very heavy conditions. the HAYES/WILLIAMS combo is extraordinarily good. only thing that worries me with this horse is that it may have been set for the diamond which will make this run tough

Should get a decent price about Boom Time Savings. And I think she can win. Was a very good run behind Plagiarize last start in the Silver Slipper and I have been waiting for her to re appear. Think she can upset the 'favs'. Miss Finland for second. Although I'm still to be convinced of the Blue Diamond form on that bog track. I like Mirror Mirror, she'll run well here. Pure Energy will be in the firing line from the inside draw. Heat of the Fire faces acid test, but is a good chance and could be a decent horse too.

you talk about the blue diamond form not stacking up, but i'm of the opinion that given a firm track, miss finland wins that race by 2 lengths. big if, i know, but thats my opinion

i'm very interested in the prices as it will determine which of the two horses i will be backing. given equal prices, will be going miss finland though

Not necessarily saying it won't stack up, but I'm not reading to much into it. In particular the winner that day, Nadeem. It came down the 'fast lane' to win.

I need to see them again, on a dry track, sydney way of going before I then form the opinion that they won't stack up
