Early in the week but there's 2 of interest here for me... Boom Time Savings was a decent run 2nd behind Plagiarize in the Silver Slipper. Probably the only other one to 'follow' from that race. It's not in the Golden Slipper markets though... Does that mean they will have to pay a late nom fee or something if they want in?
The other is Mirror Mirror. Once again on the Plagiarize form. She beat Plagiarize by 2.5 lengths when both horses had their first race starts. Plagiarize a nice run and a touch unlucky. Mirror had a let up then came out 2 starts later and won the Magic Millions with a storming finish. This form is as good as any for the 2 year olds at the moment although Churchill Downs may have bought that down a bit. But I'm taking it on face value and thinking this filly is superior to it...
