Renewing your membership????

Just wondering if everyone here will be renewing their memberships.

Yesterday on the radio, a few angry parra supporters vowed they wont be renewing, due to the board, and the recent dramas that have been going on.

They said something along the line that DA didn't want Maitua and Webb, and that it was the board pushing for those 2 signings.

The supporters were also upset about the treatment of DA, and the speculation that he is under pressure.

After 1 of the most disappointing seasons I can recall, I will definitely be renewing my membership.

What are your thoughts????

I'm only a Blue Blood as I don't get to games, but I'll be making my donation again next year. Hopefully the bag of sh*t that comes in the mail is a bit better.

No one will be telling me what to do. Especially some radio jock.

Not only will I be renewing the 3 tickets I already have, but we are looking to increase it to 4. There are only my wife and I however we often have mates who join us.

The spare seats never go to waste, and if they do, then I have some where to put my pie and beer down when cheering the boys home. :D:D

Absolutely renewing , blue and gold , we never fold , and all that sort of bullsh*t!
Seriously , as painful as most of this season has been , it's always a hellova ride I would not have missed for quids.
Onwards and upwards to better things in 2011 , I say!

About time we had a full review into the club, I thionk we need to accept that this year was unsatisfactory.

hopefully we get some movement in recruitment staff and coaches , they have not been up to it. I think Webb and maitua will give us something we have lacked, some grunt, we have been too nice since Morrison left.

Absolutely I will be renewing.

Why wouldn't I?????? :?

Hadleys outburst yesterday was irrational and ill -informed. He also misrepresented certain aspects of his argument. Then he puts two people to air that say they aren't going to renew their memberships and makes it sound like none of us will be. Then the rant ended, with all his co-horts on side.
Once again, it was a disgraceful piece of journalism.

I'll wait till next year to decide if I become a ticketed member, non ticketed membership will be considered if they drop the price a bit, 75 bucks or whatever is way too expensive for what you get out of it. Issues with the board, coach bla bla bla will not affect my decision.

Of course I will. It is my footy club, what sort of question is that? Hadley's a jock strap, so he can just eat my stenchy crack.

Membership of all kinds is what will ultimately keep our club alive. People who haven't grasped that yet need to. We need to grow our membership to over 30000 no matter what type of season we have on the field. If we do that, then it is almost guaranteed that we will be successful more times then not. We need to be the Broncos, in both membership and success, of Sydney. This is a achievable goal considering we have the fan base already. We just need to wake them up and get them involved through rain, hail and shine and that is where our management comes into it. The real question is are they up to it?

At the end of the day becoming a season ticket holder is not about the board, the coaching staff, or really about the current team. These all come and go. coaches change, staff change, the team changes (regularly), CEO and the board will continue to change. Some for the better some for the worst.

For me it is about support the Parramatta Eels RLC, as I have done for the past 36 years (and no I have been a STH for all that time).
If we dont support the Parramatta Eels RLC then we might just find that we can not afford to stay in the NRL, end of story. This is why I have and always will continue to be a STH.

and? what else would you expect from a glorified shock jock if you are listening to that dribbler expecting fair and balanced commentary you'll be waiting a looong time

i think there'll be quite a drop off .... and i won't think badly of ppl that decide not to - its their money, they can choose whatever form of entertainment they wish - if what they spend it on isn't entertaining then they have every right to not bother any more

Although we want to win, it just aint all about winning. It's tribal and Parra is my tribe......
Hadley is not a very balanced individual....it's very surprising anybody would listen to anything that he has to say...

Driving home from cricket yesterday i heard the callers ring up and say that they wouldn't be renewing their tickets and the first thought that came to mind was "bandwagoners". Get on when the going is good and jump off as soon as we hit a bumpy section on the road.

Pretty poor form as far as i'm concerned. Stick it out through thick and thin.

But to answer the thread, yes i'll be renewing our 3 Season Passes and the East Terrace. Great seats and some really nice people around us.

i think a fair portion of his audience is just waiting for him to throw a tanty kind of like people who watch formula 1 races hoping to see a crash
