A colossal effort but once again, no premiership points to show for it. We certainly did reward the forward pack with our votes this week.

Josh Miller - 64 votes
Jason Croker - 45
Alan Tongue - 34
David Howell - 19
Phil Graham - 15
Lincoln Withers - 10
Todd Carney - 9
Andrew Lomu and Ben Cross - 3
Jason Smith, Clinton Schifcofske and Craig Frawley - 2

Hence the 3-2-1- go to:

3 points

croker.jpg

2 points

tongue.jpg

1 point

I don't want to sound biased but Josh Miller is deadset storming home and with 5 to play GO YOU GOOD THING - http://sgb.leagueunlimited.com/poty.htm

Lomu was very good IMO... 9 hitups for 132 metres according to NRL.com, they are impressive numbers. He always bends the line when making a hit-up.

Go Miller. He deserves it more than most. I will be filthy if he just gets pipped at the post by Schif. There is no way Schif had a 2 point game last week and those 'fan' votes may see him get the title (Even though it is a fan POTY, I still want the player that deserves it to win, not the player with the most fans)

I think it's tremendous that Tongue and Miller are 4th and 3rd currently. With 15 points still to claim and the form Miller is in, I can definitely see him winning it.

Everything about those two (size, commitment, guts) really has captured the hearts of all of us... Miller is rocketing up the list of my favourite players - if everyone played like him week in week out we'd win the comp hands down.

I 100% agree with everyone regarding Miller. We have to lock this guy in to a long term contract before Manly/Easts/any other scumbags figure out he's the most under rated player in the comp.

I can't wait to see Miller, Weyman and Lomu on the park at the same time next year. This, of course, would require somewhat of a miracle.

Millers last 5 games averages from NRL.com. 11.6 hitups for 101.8m, 29.2 tackles for 0.6 missed tackles, 0.4 errors.

Sign this kid up for life.

The only criticism I could have of him is that he has only made 3 offloads all season, but who really cares with his production. Probably a good thing too, offloads scare me after 3 seasons of watching Hindy and Tyran undo the good work they do trying to throw them.

Miller is outstanding, his first hit up is explosive, his last just as good. Probably our most consistent bar Tongue and Smith. His style is rampaging, but unfortunately can suffer injuries because it's such a wreckless style, and he's not a huge prop by any standards. Toots, although i've criticised heavily this season has really come on in the past few weeks, his defense and leadership have really stood out IMO.

As for Schif, his performances this year have been good, but some of his decisions when he has the ball on 5th tackle have been diabolical.

Miller is awsome, will be huge for us over the next few seasons especially as he gains more experience, the guys still only 22.
Now back onto Frawley...how the hell did he get 2 points last week...i didnt think Broncos fans were allowed to vote.

Must've been an encourangment vote.
I remember I gave Boogas a vote after one of our losses as encouragement, Frawley needs all the support he can, possibly a vote for him actually being able to play consecutive games.
