He isn't anymore he advised the club this last week that he will play out his contract
I`ve got a question for everyone???When have you ever seen Buckets run any harder or break any more tackles than Chris Patterson does???it amazes me why everyone likes to bag the shit out of Patterson, but good old Buckets plays very similar and gets nothing but praise???Mighty Tiger wrote:

Firstly,Buckets should never ever stifle the back line as he likes to do.He`s far to slow to try and be a wide runner linking the backline and when he tries to be a ball player,it`s like he`s in slow motion!Defensively,no denying he always puts in 100%,but if your talking about defence alone then Patterson must be a good player also, right???Stellar said:you really are comparing a monaro with a golf buggie. O'Neill has played 200 games compared to Paterson's 20 odd. Buckets might not run to line that hard but he is inspirational in defence and he has developed a very nice passing game it adds extra dimensions to his game. No one likes to see something simply running at the line doing nothing else the will just line the player up knowing that they wont pass.
Exactly.I agree he even ran straight and hard against the Storm.daslacker said:I can't help but agree with vicious again.
I have nothing against buckets.I think he is great in defence and is a
great clubman.Yet i don't know why he doesn't get bagged for his attack.
Maybe i'm watching a different game.We have people complain about
our lack of go forward and it seem it's never his fault. To me he wants to
be a ball player in attack.I don't want that from a backrower.I would
prefer buckets at lock where he could be a ball player but i want our
props and backrowers running straight and hard and making alot of
metre's.
P.S The storm game was the best game he has played in a very very
long time IMO.
thoughts?
