There have been rumours over the past few weeks expecially the last few days that:

Brock Lesnar is expected to sign this Thursday with the WWE. WWE.com has mentioned his name which is a clear indication he will return to the WWE ring.

Thoughts?

About damn time. He's a the best 'big man' wrestler I've ever seen, in terms of both general in ring ability and charisma. His presence has been missed.

Looking forward to his return. I wasn't watching wrestling at all when he was last with the WWE.
Given his recent past I doubt they'll be using him for much more than midcard feuds for the at least the next year.
Still from the few matches of his I've seen he'll be a very welcome addition.

From WWE.com:

A more mature Lesnar ready for return
July 6, 2005

WWE fans have not seen Brock Lesnar since his WrestleMania XX match against Goldberg. Shortly afterwards, the former WWE Champion left the sports-entertainment world in favor of pursuing an NFL career. Today, however, Lesnar has confirmed that he is scheduled to meet with Vince McMahon tomorrow to talk about a possible return to the ring.

“I’m excited about getting my working boots on and getting back to business,” Lesnar told WWE.com during a phone interview.

While Lesnar is excited about a return to the ring, he realizes that nothing is definite. “I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow in the meeting,” said Lesnar. “I don’t know if I’m returning to WWE, I really don’t. In order for this to happen, it has to work for both Vince and myself.”

A return to WWE may come as a shock to some fans, as the Internet has been buzzing recently about the rumors of a strained relationship between Lesnar and McMahon. “We need to get on the same page,” admitted Lesnar, regarding their relationship. “There’s some hard feelings on both ends of this. Sometimes it takes a little time to heal. We’ll know more tomorrow.”

The former WWE Superstar admits that some of the responsibility rests on him. “I had some maturing to do. There comes a time in everybody’s life when you have to grow up” said Lesnar. “But professional wrestling is in my blood. I may have second guessed it in the past, but I know it now.”

Reported by Ryan Clark on 07/06/2005 Lesnar To Sign Contract Tomorrow; Going To SmackDown?; More News

If all goes well tomorrow morning, Brock Lesnar will be signing a WWE contract and will be brought straight to SmackDown as it stands now. That could change though upon his return as it would be a 'shocker' type deal if he came back on RAW. We do know the two sides began talking again last week.

The early word is that Lesnar will be returning to Smackdown, the brand he considered home for most of his WWE career. His return sets up several potential feuds with Batista, JBL, Randy Orton, Chris Benoit or The Undertaker. Whoever his first oppenent is, expect WWE to play off of Brock’s real life situation and using it as part of a storyline.

IF thats the case i expect Chris Beniot, Chris Beniot is known as a loyal man, and a very technically sound wrestler, he will be made to pay his dues again against the rabbit wolverine, plus he aint doing much there atm, they could put on a very entertaining match... id expect Beniot to get a couple of wins up before Lesner beats him at his return PPV
