Reynoldson Or Sailor?

Reynoldson gave us very little impact off the bench last night and while im not usually one to crucify a player for one poor game, i think we would have been far better served with Dell on the bench.

Wendell coming on as a forward would up the game tempo, thats what you want.

..... and Gasnier loses the captaincy after last night for mine. Time to hand it to Young.

Well we havent lost a game with Wendell yet, and I think he could easily handle the 15 or so tackles and 6 runs that Reynoldson/Hunt had to do.

Young's slow service from dummy half combined with the Storm getting a 2 metre head start really hurt us in attack last night. I havent seen a team with less decision time than in a long time.

i actually thought that Saffy was brilliant last night, esp in the first 20 minutes

yeah he had a solid game but i just think another forward with some good footwork is handy to trouble the defense. saffy ran hard but was also easy pickings as he doesnt have a step. is better suited off the bench to get the team going forward when they start to get tired.

i must be blind because i haven't yet seen the value in what sailor actually does outside of motivation.

he still looks unfit. he looks slow.

maybe just whack him on the sideline to talk it up to the lads.

Enthusiasm and dragging in 5 defenders, not through the quality of the run but the fact that its Wendell Sailor. Look at the game vs the Broncos. They rushed up and tried to kill him every time but he just bounces off. The guy is an athlete and though he's lost some pace, I wouldnt like to stop him.

like i said in another thread - make him team mascot or waterboy...
that way he can be on the field to motivate the team but doesnt have to waste a spot in the 17...
- he is overweight and unfit
- he has lost his pace
- he has the turning circle of the queen mary and has lost any agility or elusiveness
