Richo in trouble?

I've been given a tip that at an emergency board meeting tomorrow Richo, Tallis and Wrigley may be punted. Nothing untoward other than Maximus is none too happy with the way the club has been performing. My source was on the money about GI early in the year, so keep an eye out for action on the top floor in Chalmers St.

If Performance , the only one who should be punted at this time would be the coach.Given we have new coach set for next year, makes no sense to replace coach at this time.

Most will be crossing their fingers that Richo is punted soon.

In an case, this news has been on other Souths forums for some time.

Wouldn't be against Richo and Tallis going. We have way too much talent in the forwards and too often they lack the fundamentals and some footy IQ, which is what Tallis should be doing.

And Richo, while the financial side of the club is going well (thanks to Crowe) the football side of things isn't and Richo should pay the price.

New coach in 2012, as well as a new CEO, halves coach and forwards coach along with all the talent we have in the squad and it should be a much more successful year.

If nothing else Richo should be punted for hiring Lang. 3 wasted years for you guys.

To be fair, Lang is a premiership winning coach. He was a better option than anyone else at the time. They could have ended up with Chris Anderson.

Its hard to say who is to blame at Souths at the moment. I mean we do have a solid chunk of our cap sitting in suits on the sideline. I've also heard rumours that Langy just doesn't care anymore. That he isnt interested in shaking it up, that he is happy to finish up the season and be done with football. But most of this stuff is just rumour.

I cant remember but did they even go through a process ? Did they make sure Lang was up to date with the modern trends ?

i may underestimate his ego, but think it is clear that drastic action is not needed as of RIGHT now. as said, rather build on next season. we dont need more distractions.Lang is obviously gone, but i think tallis does not really bring much to us but his name. as for richo.....

Lang was sort of an assistant to JT at the time. They apparently went through a process and come up with Lang. The whole ordeal did have a "jobs for the boys" tune about it.

from what I know, Rusty hasn't been happy with Richo for a while and is still fuming at the Sandow saga, he is angry that he decided to stitch sotto up before Sandow and prompted Richo into making some stupid statements in the press..

Parra are paying no more than 400K (in fact I'm told it's slightly less) for Sandow but it still didn't stop the fat idiot to carry on like a pork chop, it may now cost him his job, but I guess it is now speculation.

to be fair on Richo for a moment, when he had to make a decision on who to tie up first, he had to do it without any consultation of a head coach, therefore it's partly the boards fault, you always flirt with danger when anyone else other a head coach or football manager needs to make a decision on the recruitment and retention of players.

Crowe isnt even in the country at the moment,so I highly doubt this would happen without him being present.
