"Ricky Stuart was supposed to bring New South Wales some long overdue Origin success, pride and stability. As it stands right now, Ricky has largely brought New South Wales confusion, contradiction and in-fighting"

For the most part, i agree with this article. Last years selection for game one left me scratching my head. I watch every game, every week and i really wondered if the NSW selectors had been doing the same thing after seeing the side they picked. I highly doubt it. In fact, QLD were laughing at the side chosen for game one and who could blame them? It was laughable and now i wonder if the same mess is going to continue this year. I dont really understand what Ricky Stuart is doing at the helm in the first place? He was an origin great sure, but his coaching record sucks. If NSW really expects to have a shot at winning a series they will have to start acting like it because although QLD has a great side, NSW would have had a real shot last year. Before any QLD'rs make any noise about that statement, realise NSW won at least one game, with an under strength, poorly managed and highly controversial side. Hopefully this year the selectors get it right, and NSW can muster a real origin performance instead this half hearted rubbish we've seen the last few years.
