Ricky Stuart - off contract?

Can someone please confirm or deny that Sticky is off contract at the end of 2006?

A group of us Raider fans are hoping (and praying) that Sticky will be asked to come coach us. Right now it's a pipe dream and I know he's happy at the Roosters, but he did say one day he'd love to come back to Canberra, and he's still got really good friends on the board.

Any inside goss you could shed on his contract status?

YES he is off contract at the end of the season but I would think as long as the roosters don't go to water in the first few weeks he will re-sign fairly quickly

The challenge of turning around Canberra would be a massive one, I know Sticky is highly motivated. Like I said, he's also stated in the past he wants to come back home. I'm not saying it'll happen... was just curious if you had any more info.

I read in anther thread on this forum that ricky sold his house and is renting maybe that is anther indication he maybe goin somewhere else mmmmm if he does imo canberra would be favourites for his services and imo as someone has stated in this thread that
