Riddell accepts one-match ban

PARRAMATTA utility Mark Riddell has accepted a one-match suspension for striking Penrith hooker Luke Priddis in Sunday's NRL match.

The Eels decided this morning that Riddell would take the early guilty plea.
As Parramatta has the bye this weekend, the suspension will rule Riddell out of the home clash with Wests Tigers on April 21.
The Tigers decided yesterday to plead guilty and no contest to injured playmaker Benji Marshall's grade two high-tackle charge.
Marshall faces a long stint on the sidelines anyway after dislocating his shoulder later in the loss to North Queensland, so the one-week ban is largely irrelevant.
Also yesterday, Tigers halfback Scott Prince escaped suspension after entering an early guilty plea for a grade two careless high tackle charge.

Prince's previously unblemished record meant he would only attract 93 penalty points.

well, poor old marcus. took out Gower, he also made a nice line break in the second half...one of the obes when Mckinnon couldnt find support, and supercoach took him off not long after :lol:
