I always felt that Davidson was the most underrated of the greatest cricketers, he was among the very best to ever play the game.

Good innings at 92, still sad though

Gun bowler, could handle the willow as well

Did FA with the ball first 8 tests he played, 11 wickets at about 40

Ended his career 186 wkts averaging 20.55

Davo also took an innings 10for and 157 against NZ back in 1950 for a Bill Brown - led Aussie Seconds tour side. A much under rated all rounder. Surely third to the great Keith Miller and Richie.
