You may remember the old fella who used to call 2KY Big Sports Breakfast and continually defended the Chooks and hammered the morons on that show...his name was Clive Galea, and he loved the Roosters and Rugby League.

His passing is a sad one and he'll be missed. Clive was a real character and one thing I didnt get a chance to hear him do is call Matthew Oneil and hammer him for being such an anti Roosters goose. At least we got to hear him give it to Kok Kennedy on KY and the Hughes Bulldog lovin weazels on 2SM.

RIP Clive.

Wrote an anonymous column under the banner of "The Man On The Hill" in RLW in the 80s until his identity was made public.

A sad thing for his family indeed.....I can still remember Ray and Clive arguing about things and Clive's calls into the 2KY BSB.....may his family be comforted during this time.

Sad news... how old was he and how did he pass away.?
He's been a part of us roosters sup[porters lives for a long time on the airways.

P.S ..Impelliteri..how did you get that name...is it after a guitar plaqyure from the shredding 80s.

Clive did nothing all day but call Alan Jones, Big Sports Breakfast, Raaaaaaaaaaaaayy, Talkin sport and anyone else who'd listen to his rants. You'd flick the radio and there'd be more chance of Clive being on than a John LAws prostate ad voice over. Shame he didn't take that bogan Janelle from talking sport with him, nor their slower than slllllooooooooooooooooww love child Darrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeen from Souuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuufffffff Sydddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddneeeyyyyyyyyyyyy

I was unaware that Clive was Clive Galea and the the very same Man on The Hill. Was Man on the Hill not in big league as opposed to RLW. My memory could be failing. I do remember he did spout some drivel even back then

RIP Clive Galea

I never really agreed with many things he said however he was very interesting in many ways, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he the son of a former colourful racing Identity Percy Galea?

Heard 100s of his calls on radio.
Very smart man and it will be different not hearing him on radio

I will miss him melon he's an interesting caller but to bag off other people in his tribute is imo very weak, he's no more biased than the next bloke who's pasionate about the game of rugby league. tbh I know he gave it to Graeme Hughes regularly but never heard him call 2SM once so you can argue that ole Clive lacked a little bit og backbone there.

I sincerely apologise if he did call the talkin sport team on 2SM but I can't remember and I doubt he ever did.

Yup, moreso the band itself when fronted by Rob Rock - e.g. Crunch - Eye of the Hurricane and earlier material - great band at the time

sad thing that. Have only heard him recently on the 2ky both during the week and weekend. He was a true roosters fan who never stopped believing. After spending most of my time on the road and hearing his comments, he will be missed.

RIP Clive
