RL2 Versions Mario ?

With regards to last years version, I thought RL1 ran a whole lot better on xbox than ps2. Not bothered about the quality of graphics as such but the framerate was massively better on the xbox and pc and changed the game completely for me.

As the xbox hasnt been announced and there is no firm yes or no, has the ps2 caught up gameplay wise and would it likely be more on par playability wise if there were a side by side xbox version ?

Also what kind of spec is the pc version likely to want to play nice ?

Would my xp64-3200, 64 meg ati mobility radeon 9600 with 512meg ram laptop stand any kind of chance ?

Cheers.

I'm guessing the gap between the PS2 and Xbox/PC versions would be even larger this time around, although I'd say the Sidhe guys would be able to get more out of the PS2 now with a bit more experience, but still, I can't see the PS2 putting out graphics of the quality we've seen in the screenshots and running at a smooth frame rate.

Still, we probably wont know for sure about it until much closer to release, since it'd need to be optimised and all that, and heck, if it was a little sluggish on the PS2 compared to the PC/Xbox, I don't think they'd come out and say it, anyway. But my tip is your laptop shouldn't have any struggles at all with it, so it wont matter much anyway.

Any word Mario ? I am hoping my pc can handle it unless the ps2 version has taken a leap forward this time around.

All versions have improved visually. Your laptop will be able to run the PC version.
