Rugby League Review is the best.

RLW was great 20 years ago. It is total garbage now. Haven't bought one since the late 90's.

RLW has more variety and depth to it's articles.

BL is better for game day if you want to get line ups for all grades that you can easily refer to during the game.

Ditto.

I buy BL every week because I take it to the games and refer to it while I'm watching games on tv. I buy RLW probably every 2-3 weeks.

league week hands down,
the only thing big league has better are the team lists
kia ora pretty much summed it up

Mate they get the Tuesday team lists which for the most part aren't worth the paper they are written on, due to judicary hearings + injuries.

Forums for the win + Main Game in Fridays Telegraph is my staple.

Still by the Rugby League Summertime due to league cravings and want my $6 back every time.

And Big League Season Guide, Season Preview and Season Review for stats and nostalga once in a while - All 3 are extremely well done.

I might by RLW or BL during the year if I see an article that particularly grabs me.

I personally prefer BL because it has team lists and is sold at the game.
Its quality however is significantly below the Record which you get at AFL games. They get custom inserts for every game detailing club histories, full lists, head to head stats, etc.

I prefer Big League and buy it every week, but will still buy RLW occasionally. Rugby League Review is a very good option too, I've had a subscription for a few years now and will keep it up.
