My point is having a middle forward lose weight to increase workrate worked last year, so it's not the problem this year. Learn to f**ken read ffs
Well you haven’t clarified when this interview took place merkin (and you still haven’t). Was it early or late 2017, because that makes a pretty large difference to the validity of your point. I’d argue Tep dropped the most weight over this last offseason under the watch of the AFL merkin.

Learn to make a point FFS.

The other point is that performance goals are set by the coaching staff not the trainer. It's like how concretors aren't the ones who decide where to build the house. In this analogy I think Moeroa is the house.

But the main point you were making was that middle forwards dropping weight to play longer in the middle worked last year. You’re yet to establish that.

I also reckon the main coaching staff would be more focused on the end outcome (playing longer minutes) and it would then be up to the specialist staff to develop a plan to achieve that.

Well it would have been decided in the off season. This is when players have time to conduct tailored programs to change their body shape. Moeroa doesn’t look any smaller this year.

True, but there are training measurables for on-field targets. It’s not something that can’t be monitored by the coach.

I definitely reckon tep looks leaner this year, as do Mannah, Alvaro and Brown.

Kane Evans looks like an AFL player.
He always has. But he said in an early interview that the club wants him to bulk up. Not being able to use one arm after breaking his wrist though could have meant he'd look like this:
