Brown is a huge loss yes but its nice to have Bev back on the wing where he belongs and Guth back.

He's sort of got some footwork. I suppose that, unlike Brown, Moeroa can defend on the edges. That proves some mobility. But he has shown nowhere near Brown's level of ability to play the ball quickly. I almost feel like Kenny Edwards would be a better one-for-one swap with Brown but how long would he last in the middle? It's a lot of extra work in defence.

Yes and no. He is only being used as a battering ram this year so we wont lose much there - but we will miss his defence and aggression.

Edwards started at 13 when he came I to FG, I believe.

Maybe we start Tepai there and shift him when Kenny comes on? Although I feel like Kenny's running good game is a bit wasted in the middle.

Maybe Alvaro comes on at lock? Tepai shifts to "prop" with Evans? Polar was sick at lock when Brown missed out last year, surprised he wasn't named there.

I am not expecting much from Gutho hoping his return is simply just a morale booster for the team.
