Smith was pretty predictable, I don't know why that surprises anyone, he's been our small guy on the bench all year, he was the obvious go to man.

Bench looks decent and it appears BA has a boner for Cartwright as he went straight into the team after his injury and as average as he was he still gets another run over the likes of Stone who's normally the fill in guy.

Stones done his shoulder. Out till rnd 9. Stones seems injury prone. Cut him loose end of season if doesn change.

Cartwright we need to come good. He is one of few who can bring x factor.
If we make finals and can keep it close against a big side he is the guy who can provide spark.
People are kidding themself if they think we are as good as the top 4. We aren't. But if make the top 8 and play boring amd safe footy and frustrate these better sides and its close with 20 to go. We may be able to get a shock lead with unpredictable play and hold onto it.
May only need to do it twice to jag a comp. If we finish 5th-8th we are good enough to beat the sides placed there.

I'd rather talk finals scenarios later in the year. Right now, it's all about beating a team of green merkins at their home ground. A ground that we haven't tasted victory at well before either of us had joined this forum.
