can i just say, I ended up in the raiders section by mistake ( just a footy fan). I ended up staying there as I havent seen that sort of passion from supporters for a long while. Some bloody funny calls, and some impressive sledging ( geez, youse don't like Mat Rogers!!haha), no swearing or bad behaviour, just good hard sledging and cheering.
And just in case anyone wanted to know what happened to the foul-mouthed crow calling Titan fan after the first half I passed him in handcuffs at the northern end of the ground just before fulltime....made my night.;-)

I think our forwards dominated the Titans pack for the most part last night, unfortunately our execution in attack was dreadful and it is apparent that we have not improved in this area over many years. I am never confident when we get in the opposition 20 and it seems our only play is a short pass to a barging forward close to the line. Obviously Todd Carney isn't displaying great form at the moment and I think it i s time to change the halves. I would like to see Herbert given a run ahead of Dobson. We have seen what Dobson offers whilst Herbert remains an unknown quantity. In saying this Campo deserves to retain a place in the side and I know a lot of supporters won't like this but I think Tongue will have to play second row or hooker. Having him as a ball player last night was ridiculous and Campo would be far more effective. Herbert at 7 and Carney and Campo on either side gives a lot more options.

I never had a big opinion of Plum but I am liking what I am seeing this year. Thommo had one of his better games and Picker is getting better with every game he plays. I note some criticism of Weyman by certain people (who seem to have an agenda) but despite his brain explosion, he is by far our most explosive front rower. It is a shame that he will do time as he looks to be the fittest I have ever seen him.

My side for next week Goodwin, Best, Monaghan, Chalk, Purtell, Carney, Herbet, Campese, Tongue, Plum, Tilse, Withers, Thompson. Bench Thurling, Picker, TLL, Miller.

Noticed on the call last night they mentioned that Goodwin is attracting interest in other clubs whilst papers this morning indicate Zillman will be at the Titans next year and the Raiders have made an offer to Nathan Smith to return to the Raiders from Penrith.

Your previous post sums up a number of our deficiencies fairly well.

Goodwin will def attract interest ... I dont need to read a newspaper for confirm that ... quite frankly he should have been our FB from the start and Zillman groomed as the No.7 with Carney at No. 6 ... that's how I thought it would be before Dobbo came entered the scene and Goodwin broke his arm.

Natham Smith ... if this report is true all I can say is f**k we go for the big ones ... if we are looking to improve the quality of our stock we dont need to sign NS.

Feel a touch sad for Hinchy ... looks like he's out for 6-8 weeks ... he was starting to lay claim to be the better rake and shifting Withers to the bench (a couple of seasons too late) and now an injury that will keep him out for some time and then having to prove to the coach his worth.

His defence has been a highlight and his distribution has been what has set him apart .. I cant remember one foreward pass, one drop ball

.. chin up Hinchy.

We fell away yeah, but 12 - 10 going into halftime is a big difference. We were robbed of that Best try. Shades of the Alan Tongue try last year. Absolutely disgraceful.

Chris Ward has been know to come up with some strange decisions when video refing Raiders game ... this is not the first and certainly not the last.

Imo referees should be made to front up at the press conference and expalin some of their decisions ... Weyman for instance was reportedly sent off for a "King Hit" ... if a front-on scuffle with the oponent hanging on to your collar before you throw the first punch is defined as a King Hit I'm a monkey's uncle.

The refs ( including v refs and touchies ) need to be accountable , but Finch will back them and say they were correct. Id imagine Henry wont risk another 10 grand fine, the supporters wont put in this time.:)

We continually get dud calls , now this may not help us win a game but it should enable us to lose it on our own merits. between the NFL style pass for Tits 2nd try and Bests blurry line non benefit of the doubt try we were never gonna have an equal chance of beating them. It makes me sick.:x

I am actually hoping Weyman gets suspended so he doesn't have a chance at playing first grade for a couple of weeks.

The thing that annoys me more than anything in a game of football is when a player causes a penalty when he has the ball. Stupidest thing a player can do.

Weyman knocks the ball on too often and causes too may penalties. I think he needs to branded to Souths Logan.

Also bring Dobbo back and play Campese at Lock. Picker and Tongue as starting 2nds. This will mean we have Carney, Dobbo and Campese who can create attacking opportunities.

TLL reportedly had a good game in front of coaches Neil Henry and Dave Furner for Souths Logan in big win over Tweed Heads.
My source told me he probably will come into the team as a replacement for Mick Weyman next game.
He also told me Dobson is going like a busted bum..can't tackle..

High time either him of Justin Carney are brought up. By sounds of Dobbo looks like we have no choice but to stick with our current halves.
