First and formost.... there is NO CHANCE of the club requesting a cesearian section for a players wife. The is only done through a consulatation between the obstartitian (the dr that delivers the baby) and the mother. The major consideration will be the mother, not the fathers working commitments

2nd Babies dont nesisarily arrive on thier due date. My 2nd child arrived 14 days late, my first arrived 7 days late

he will be named and he will be in contact with the club regards to the birth of his child. there is only a 1 in 7 chance that the baby will be born on game day!

Sorry , your right Bricey can't imagine any club would ask that Point I was trying to make that if child was not born by game day club might be better resting as Rob is he is a young bloke and you would want his head in right place . I know going thru 2 births with wife that 1st one I was useful as tits on a bull day before at work and seemed about same thru birth .

Both my kids came two weeks late. I was happy for the distraction of work in those four long weeks. I was less inclined to work after the kids were born.

The thing about childbirth is that once it's on, it's on. Until then, you just have to get on with things or you can very easily go mad. And that's just the blokes!

If the baby is not born before kick-off, give the kid right up to the last minute to rule himself out of the game.

The worst thing that could happen is that he laces up the boots and his partner goes into labour an hour before kick-off, when the team can't be changed... But even then, it would have to be an extremely quick labour in order for Rob to miss out on it altogether ... and you would expect that she would be showing signs of pre-labour if that were likely to happen.

Then again, you just can't predict this stuff...

I can hope every thing works out well for Rob and his girlfriend With both my kids we had days picked that we would of preferred for them not to arrive they arrived one three days early one three days late I think Bricey means 1 day out of 7 days in a week that bub can be born .

based on trial form, i think he got a pretty swipt boot up the date for his dickheaded antics last year, because he looks a completely different player now. Actually running with the ball, setting up tries.

I hope he keeps that up, could become quite a potent player indeed.

Has his kicking game improved any?

oh FFS......!

there are 7 days in a week....

a baby can only be born on 1 day....

therefore there is only a 1 in 7 chance of a baby being born to a player on their game day during the season

WOW- Sherlock Homes here- thanks SCOOP---what a news flash.....

Went out to SFS for F/Cup Lui looked the goods big time if he starts the season playing like that he can only get better as the season progesses . ( and to be honest i thought Moltzen was the man for job) Now i'm not so sure . Could be a real good season . "Fingers Crossed"
Aaron Woods also impressive . Hope to see more of him this season. Still think Moltzen has to be in the side somewhere fullback maybe , what do you think ????

Bench I think at this stage Having him there really give us utility value as Moltzen can play Fullback ,Centre or in halves My only concern with having on bench is best thing for Tim will be game time to help build up confidence as you are always worried the knee will give u trouble when u repeat same thing that caused injury . ( Can speak from experience as at end of ACL reconstruction recovery myself 18 weeks off work )

Agree, he would be great coming off the bench late in each half or as a injury replacement virtually anywhere except for the forwards.

Problem is unless sheens changes his utility interchanges he will only play the last 3mins of a game ala Fitzhenry. (not comparing the 2 in any way)

He needs to be part of the game plan to be consistantly effective. As skilled as he is I think structure trumps spontaneity.

yeah but 3 minutes of Fitzy was even too much for Fitzy to handle . when he had John Morris on bench he would use him more often I think thats what I would be looking at but still the game time he needs worries me more Maybe 2 weeks in reggies might do the trick I don't know any thoughts anyone ???
