Was at the sme today and when word spread through the crowd of mrs farah passing away there were more than a few fans in tears.

Very sad and hopefully Farah pulls through ok. Tough stuff losing a loved one to cancer

Echoing the sentiments felt here. Robbie is a man of courage to play in such an important game - and especially the preparation, knowing her time was so near. My condolances to his father and the family.

Who was the arsewipe last November? Weidler? The flowers from him and Johns would want to be pretty big.

Terrible news. It was well documented she was sick but also never realized she was at that stage. It's a cutie of a disease that you wouldn't wish on anyone or any loved one. At the very least she's in a better place now without the suffering. Sincere condolences to Robbie and his family.

Sad news for sure. Thoughts with Robbie and his family.

There was an article about how she went into hospital just hours before the origin game, and his family decided to delay the news to Robbie until after the game. So Robbie was expecting his mother to be there watching him. Would have been an absolute roller coaster of emotions for him after the game.

Touching story. And obviously a difficult decision for the family on whether to keep that news from him.

So sad for Robbie and his family. Seeing a parent suffer and fall to cancer is a horrible thing.

My deepest sympathies to Robbie and the Farah family.
They had a minutes silence at Leichhardt before the game, and someone near me said it was the most complete silence they had ever heard at a public event. The crowd was truly silent and respectful.
