It's a stupid signing unless we sell Cisse or Morientes, otherwise our squad will be overloaded with too many strikers.

Maybe they should have made this move last week. Imagine if he'd scored a winner against United for two different clubs in the space of a week. But alas it wasn't to be.

good signing a hero for us liverpool fans but the club now has too many strikers. Loaning Mellor out to Wigan was good as it was going to be tough for him to make the top side. Which striker should leave or be loaned out Pongolle, Cisse or Morientes. I think that we should loan a player to another club, dont want to see 1 leave when Fowler could leave at the end of the season

How emotional will Fowlers return be?
Wish I could be there.
They got 11 million pounds for him when he went to Leeds and they get him back on a free.
30 years old.
Proven striker.
Not too much of a risk.

As a Manchester City fan, I am most disappointed (although it's not as bad as losing Wright-Phillips), but Vassell, Cole, Sibierski, and Bradley Wright-Phillips have been doing a more than competent job recently.

On the whole though, I much rather like the look of a side including Tarnat, Anelka, Wanchope, Fowler, and Wright-Phillips.

Don't forget the Greek guy we've just signed for a cool 6m pounds.
