My guess we would benefit playing the cowboys.

The yanks will jump on the cute mammal dolphins mascot. But my understanding we will get ton more support if it’s cowboys as the Dallas cowboys are like manly over there, no one likes them .
And us Eels no one in the universe has us as a mascot, so we are unique, different. All the unco and emos will get behind us..

Full draw to be released Thursday but here are some snippets from my little birds.

We know round 1 is Melbourne in Melbourne but we have 3 home games in the first 5 rounds.
Tigers, Bulldogs and Dragons and all I know is Dragons are round 5, don't know the order of rounds 2-4.

Our last opponent in Darwin is the same as the first - yep it's Ricky's Raiders. Let's hope we get the win again.
And we get a 9 day turn-around after it.

They wouldnt do it intentionally (it is the NRL afterall) but it might still work out that way. He is potentially due back in Round 4.
