Campbelltown had a better average in 2005 then Leichhardt did... you might remember 2005, pretty good team back then, won a comp I think.

Including one game on a fri night where it rained the entire week and the game itself was in danger of being called off...

Yeah, excuses are ok for Leichhardt but not for Campbelltown, we get it.

The fact that we played the Tits and the Warriors this year with a side that would have trouble knocking the top off a pudding had nothing to do with the lower crowds than normal?

But it does when its Leichhardt?

Benji has played in both games at Leichhardt this year for a 16k average. He played in one game at Campbelltown for a crowd of 17,500. Whether you like it or not, the kid is our drawcard. He puts bums on seats like no one else in our side, including Robbie Farah, yet in the two games with him at Leichhardt this year so far, neither crowd was as big as the one game he played at Campbelltown.

Stop basing your opinion on one game you nuffy.

I was at the Warriors game, and the Tits game, and if that's what you consider to be a "competitive side", you really do know sweet f**k all. We were f**king dreadful in both.

Maybe, and maybe Robbie being a professional Footballer would also realise that no matter the circumstances, he's expected to give 100% every time.

If he hasn't, then he has the problem, not Campbelltown or Telstra.

We were top 4 when we played the Titans.
Prince's homecoming and a nice Sunday arvo.
14k .. pathetic

Robbie was being honest about how much the team love playing at Leichhardt. Do you think the players have a real dig at Leichhardt because the fans turn up, chant and make it a fortress whereas at Campbelltown it's like a morgue ?

A simple excuse would be the pretentious Leichhardt faithfull who only go to 3 games a year to support the Tigers.

What is the excuse of every fan who was there on Monday night not to be at Campbelltown for the other 3 games, or at Telstra for those games.

Why should the people of Leichhardt shlep to campbelltown when the people of campbelltown don't ? Or are we back to blaming the people of Leichhardt for sh*t turnouts in Leumeah ?

Robbie can love whatever he like.

He plays for a JV, if he doesn't like it he should have signed for Canterbury.

The players only have a "real dig" at Leichhardt?

History says otherwise champ. That is only a recent phenomenon. A slide down the table, a few hidings and Leichhardt will be back to sub 10k in no time.

You know it and I know it.

When we lost 4 in a row in 2004, Saints onwards, Leichhardt had the lowest crowd of the year, 5k. The next week, after 5 losses in a row, Campbelltown had 16k.

I'll say it again.

Right now Campbelltown's average is higher than Leichhardt's for the history of the Wests Tigers.

You have nil argument. Nada, zip, zilch, zero, none.

You're just way too stupid to understand that salient point.

What are campbelltown's excuses. All 3 games have been on gorgeous Sunday afternoons

I'm waiting ....

There's no excuse there were two slightly disappointing crowds at Campbelltown this year.

What's Leichhardt's excuse for its average crowds 2000 - 2004?

There is no excuse!

So the only fact that remains is that Cambelltown has a higher average for Wests Tigers matches then Leichhardt!

The atmosphere at a packed Leichardt Oval is no doubt as good if not better than any other rugby league ground in the country, but if it wasn`t for the Wests Magpies and Campbelltown influence the Wests Tigers would not exist, it`s that plain and simple !!!
With that being the case, the side being half full of Wests Magpies, Campbelltown based juniors obviously have to play their fair share of home games out of Campbelltown to give them their fair share in the joint venture. Given time i`m sure the Campbelltown crowds will eventually become more vocal, but in the mean time any pro Balmain fans should think themselves lucky that they have a decent side to support and one that can actually win a grand final when they get there !!!

If you really want the merger to be successful then you can't take games away from c'town or leichhardt. Hopefully next year they will play 4 @ c'town, 4 @ leichhardt and 4 @ telstra.

Why play any at Telstra ? Why do we whore games to Telstra, Christchurch and Gosford. Give ourselves an even bigger mountain to climb to make the 4 or 8

I have no idea why we played home games in Christchurch and Gosford, except for the reason to make extra money but we do that by playing at telstra anyway and telstra is atleast in sydney.

No, Leichhardt's average is higher than Campbelltown for the history of the Wests Tigers. That was true before Monday night's game and remains true.

Leichhardt had better crowds than Campbelltown 2001-2004. Only two years have the crowds at Campbelltown been higher, 2000 & 2005.

The team attracts higher crowds at Leichhardt and has a 65% success rate there. We should think about playing out of Leichhardt full time.

Play fulltime anywhere but CS and LO I reckon.

It might get rid of wankers who still support the maggies or Balmain and not the Wests Tigers.

So there you go, the fans have spoken with their feet. All games at Telstra from next year, its better for attracting sponsors and the fans like it too.

Ever wonder why the success % is bigger at LO?

Or do you just see it and be smug.

Try looking at the opposition both grounds have hosted, you'll see a disroportionate figure if you look close enough.
