Robinson, the worst refereeing ever at Brooky

I was at the game and could not believe the absolutely woeful decisions this referee made. He would not let the game flow and made the game boring in parts due to his eagerness to blow the whistle. As a Manly supporter I couldnt believe we ended up winning, not because of the way Manly played as they played well. But instead due to the calibre of referreeing decisions.

I read the match report here on this site and think it should be taken down immediately as it does not show professional journalism but biased comment.

The Canberra supporters are also pissed off witht he refereeing but they seem to think that manly were lucky because of it. Dont they realise that we also thought the refereeing was attrocious?

I rang Zappa at half time and thought exactly the same. It just looked crap from either side of the field.

It also looked like he was trying to keep the ledger even, no consistency or anything.

I agree with the match report comment - if that is to be posted then there should be room to comment

At the same time i guess he needed to chuck a pleyer in the bin in the first half after all the penalties to get the teams to settle down

yeah but half the penalties should not have been blown up. He just got whistle happy where a more experienced referee would have let the game flow and continue

I thought he had every right to blow a lot of play the ball infrigements at least. Canberra were laying on the tackle and slowing the ruck down so much.

yeah i think robinson is the best referee in the game
but hes still green i think he should have binned a player in the first half for the constant 10 metre breaches

They also put Jason Smith in the team of the week and only one Manly Player ;-) .I'll admit he was effective, But Monaghan had a much better game...How Good was it when he picked up and hurled Adamson into the turf? Twice!

Adamson was very ineffective early because of that.

I thought the team of the week was a bit of a joke
