It seems Sly is going to bung on the gloves one more time.

The story ( directed by Sly himself ) is about Rocky being back on the bread line and doing a couple of "low-profile" fights to make ends meet.

I think a Rambo movie would have been a better option.


Rocky was a classic series of movies, but by the end it was done to deat. I mean, there are only a certain amount of story lines you can take with Boxing.


You fight from no where to be the champion.

You lose, become a bum, and they fight to regain your title.

You take on a great opponent and beat him against the odds.



Thats about it. Unless of course you decide to bite someones ear off.

What would be cool is if Rocky went up against Mike Tyson in the movie. Now that I'd pay to see!

It ended well on the 2nd, 3rd was good but after that it became evident that it had gone too far.

They could do something post-career....I mean, his kid could die in the ring and his old, damaged brain could go kaput too....a movie incorporating flashbacks to what has happened in previous movies would be cool....but in no way should he fight again.....the only dignified way to make Rocky 6 would be to have him die and end the series...
