I'm just wondering if there's any diehard Floyd fans out there who would recommend spending the money to see him perform this classic album live considering he'll be without Guilmour, Wright and Mason..

On the other hand did the same apply to 3 mentioned who toured under the Pink Floyd banner nearly 20 years ago.

reason?? I'm considering spending the money to see him.

I have a mate who chose Roger over BDO.

that's a massive call...I'm probably a little like him in that my taste are very broad, however I'm still not convinced that seeing Walters only would give me that true "Floyd feeling" about the show.

I definitely wouldn't give up more Vfestival ticket for a Walters show, but maybe that's because of the Pixies factor shining through..;-)

Sounds good mate !!! When and where ???

All I know is that he's performing at the Acer Arena [sydney Superdome] in Homebush on January 26.

I got my tickets the second they went on the internet pre-sale. In short, this will be a million times better than the BDO. He isn't just playing DSOTM as well. It'll be a bloody great setlist I imagine.

I'd seriously think about it if I hadn't already gotten a Big Day Out ticket. Here's praying for the day the whole Floyd decides to go around one more time.

it's worth spending the 50 odd bucks for the live 8 DVD's where Roger teamed up with the 3 remaining members for 3 or 4 songs..
