Their latest single sounds exactly like 'My Sharona'....they didn't even bother to change the key! Zero points for originality!

Ah, the endless cycle of bandwagon band bashing. What would music snobs do without it?

I'm not a Rogue Traders fan, aside from being a fan of Natalie Basingthwaite's appearance, but 'sh*ttiest band going around?' Please, they're just the latest in a long string of dance/pop artists that'll fade away. They're no better or worse than the dozens that have gone before.

But rather then write their own bad music, they're sampling/ripping off and covering other peoples music, which makes them worse, IMO.

It's the backbone of the entire dance industry! Whilst Rogue Traders may border more on the pop side, they've still got a lot of 'dance' in them, and there's precious little originality in that particular school of music.

LOL why criticize just them ? At least they "modify" the music they steal. But most of today's kids worship the Australian Idol frauds who simply sing other people's songs. And if its not that, its just that insipid Rap, R& B (how DARE they call it rhythm and blues ... there is NO BLUES at all in that insipid crap and very little rhythm if any) and f**king hip hop bollocks. At least the 90's had original bands playing their own stuff at great pace. Sure a lot of the riffs may have been "lifted" from the past, but god it was at least energetic and thoroughly alive, unlike today. God i miss grunge :lol:

They are atrocious. Martin Lang, directly after being knocked out, could write a better song than those cretins. At least a more original one.

yes its un original but get over it no one else is losing any sleep over it.

and if u got out into the clubs every now n then u would realise that their songs go off and people enjoy dancing to their music.
