Roosters Scandal re:salary cap?????

On Sportstab.com.au The Roosters odds on getting the wooden spoon have gone from 501 to 1 to 51 to 1 and the whole market has been suspended. Assuming this is not an error is this because the Roosters have been exposed as salary cap cheats and points will be taken away like the Dogs in 2002????? Lets wait and see.

Well, it's all speculation for now so we must not fuel it.

However, I must say I could not be more un-surprised.

The Roosters have a bucketload of stars, and I for one highly doubt that every single one of them would take pay cuts merely to stay with that club.

I, as much as anyone else, would love to see those clowns taken down but this could be a storm in a teacup.

You know how these things work....snowballs from hearsay and then a betting agency, like any betting agency, would suspend betting to investigate whilst protecting their interests before it reopens the market.

Guys...just also a warning about the info that we post too...so far seems harmless enough but we would hate to lose this board.

Nope. Glenn Munsie apparently mentioned on 2KY this morning that someone had made a $100 bet. A few thousand people - no bet was bigger then the initial bet of $100 - placed bets believing that someone knew something they didn't and thought they would get in on the action.

(Un)fortunately at this stage the Roosters won't be losing points due to a breach.
