Roosters boost for 2007
Friday, August 11, 2006
The Sydney Roosters today confirmed the signing of current NSW residents and Parramatta winger John Williams.
The prolific try scorer and goal-kicker has signed for 2 years.
Standing over 6 foot and 98 kg the big winger will give the Roosters options in the three quarters with the return from injury of Anthony Minichiello and Joel Monaghan.
The Roosters have also entered negotiations with the management of big Queensland State of Origin forward Danny Nutley who will be returning from England next season after a stint at Castleford.
A decision is expected next week when the Roosters will be hoping for a positive outcome to boost the Roosters pack together with current Queensland State of Origin forward Nate Myles.
