Is it just me, or is this team under achieving big time, they, without a doubt would have to have one of the best forward packs listed with a full strength side, and even their backs at full strength, yet they cant seem to win, or even lose in a tight match! They are getting absoutely embarrased!

Whats wrong with them? Seems like some of their forwards think their better then what they are!

I remember watching them on foxtel against melbourne storm in the early rounds and they absolutely destroyed them after 40 mins - ever since that half they have not played to their potential and towards the bottom end of the U20's comp

Roosters started the season with 3 wins from 3 starts, have since lost 9 on the trot and copped a few beltings in those 9 losses.

10-38 v Bulldogs
6-48 v Panthers
6-34 v Newcastle
10-40 v Warriors
12-42 v Wests Tigers

injuries injuries injuries...but u'll be interested to know that only 8 players are to be even getting paid any type of wage next season with the majority coming form local park footy...o'sullivan wants the concentrate on a few players to progress into firstgrade and use the side as purely development for skill not focused on results.

Friend, Williamson, Cherrington, Kennedy, Winterstien, Ahern, Tamou, Waqa

Those players are the only ones worth anything anyway. Masoe, Towers, Jones and White were the other ones with talent too.

I don't know what Lam is doing, the team started off with great balance, now the forward pack has centres in the backrow, wingers at hooker, etc. We have started Talanoa and Heldsinger at hooker, Moala, Peyroux, Talanoa as backrowers, Towers and White on the bench...not working...

Best team we could field:

1. White/Towers
2. Heldsinger/Towers
3. Talanoa
4. Winterstein
5. Earl
6. Jones
7. Cronin
8. Kennedy
9. Friend
10. Tamou
11. Cherrington
12. Hall
13. Ahern

14. Murray/Symonds
15. Hala
16. Masoe
17. Waqa

Who cares about the U20's comp anyway.

As long as we can produce 2 or 3 top class talents ready for first grade every year then i couldnt give a sh*t if we won the wooden spoon every season.

mx they can throw there money at penrith the higher quality kids are tied up already. The roosters where a over rated side from the start. But people should remember with O,sullivan on board they will turn it around but it does not happen over night.Example sg ball had a great year they will become u20
I would not be to worried about it if i was a rooster fan.Next year will be a big one for them

I know our best kids are locked away.:D

But we have too many to keep them all. Anyone wanting to strengthen there team would be crazy not to try and score our leftovers.

The fact our Under 20's team is sitting on top of the ladder while their best players have been either injured or promoted to first grade just goes to show the depth we have. Hopefully we put Lachlan Coote, Wade Graham and Masada Iosefa back into the side early enough for them to play in the finals series, ontop of getting some of our injured blokes back.

At full strength and all guns blazing, a clash of full strength Bulldogs and full strength Pathers would be an interesting one.

What can you tell me about Chris Ward?

i heard a whisper that Adrian Lam is no longer the coach of the Roosters 20's Team and that the S.G Ball/ Mattraville High coach has taken over

Chris ward is a strong boy can play several positions and has been a vital part of the u20.A good defender not a speedster .Reasonable footwork with out being a stand out.Not sure where he stands in the penrith pecking order.
While we would not like to lose him we have to secure a lot of others first
