Roosters v Sharks blockbusters

16-10 Cronulla in Round 1
14-8 Easts in Round 2

24-24 in 160 minutes of action packed football.

And no they were not good tough games of football, they were both extremely boring and unimaginative, with the 2 halfbacks leading the way.

The NRL could do everyone a favour and put these teams in the same Group next year meaning they only meet once.

Cronulla were quite simply a rabble considering the chance they had to get into Top 4 calculations. The Roosters have slipped so far it isint funny, they competed int he wrost game of the year last week against Penrith, and this one wasnt much better..

The end was good, 6 points difference and the Sharks throwing everything at them, but apart from that.. yeah pretty ordinary

If Sharks throwing everything at them was Kimmorley throwing short balls to front rowers then i spose it was exciting.

Peachey looked liked he would rather retire to the corner flag for a nap, Dykes, Minichello and Cross were the only players on the field that looked like doing anything to cheer up the meazley crowd at the SFS.

Cronulla are among the most boring teams in the comp. 3 hitups, 1 Kimmorley inside ball then a kick - repeated for 80 mins. Wingers and centres appear to be surplus to requirements in the Shire. No wonder they're offloading Peachey and Merritt.

I still think Knights vs Raiders this year was the worst game.

Well I probably thought it was a bit more exciting because if Dykes did make that break and didn't drop the ball at the end then I'm only 3/4 in the tips.

Wasn't entertaining but what can you expect? The Goosters have no playmaker and the Sharks just got lucky last week and are still pretenders.

I thought the season's worst was Penrith vs NZ at Penrith. Sure, some points were scored. But the worst defence I have ever seen.

Kimmorley 8 missed tackles
how this guy can be considered to be the aussie half back continues to amaze me. What does this guy bring to the side that the other top half backs dont??

like someone else said.. just short balls.. thats all he could do.

finch can kick a decent kick like 1 in every 2!! Drives me nuts watching him at times

Ex Australian halfback now unless those silly selectors pick on rep instead of form.

There should only be two candidates for Aus HB. Johns. Gower.

No-one else comes close.

Blockbuster?

They can't even get 8,000 for a game between two Sydney sides in rugby league heartland.

The majority of games this year could be considered tedious and forgettable. Standards are slipping.

Not even those jokers at Aussie Stadium who attended the Sydney Roosters College of Fudging Crowd Numbers could fudge a crowd of 10000 people to the game.

Goosters suporters might go when they are playing well. When they are playing badly, you can hear the crickets chirping.
7000 supporters to your home ground is a dead set DISGRACE especially when the facilities are as good as Aussie Stadium (price of food excepted).

Gower, are you kidding me?

Prince is the only other experienced half playing any decent footy at the moment. The only one coming close to Prince and being a realistic chance is Seymour and that's only because he has Lockyer making him look good.

Smith is on fire, but is still way too young and inexperienced.
