he is the gun! he plays primier league and yet he aint even in teh 1st grade! this kid need a debut real quick he guided the jersey flegg team to 25 unbeaten run right through to the grand final where i might add won the game for them! He is the next best thing besides sonny bill, carl web and that new bot dude from the broncos! If u dont use him i hope the doggies sign him!

I was thinking abotu him tonight while I was watching the game.

I think the Roosters are taking the safe option with him.

Still, I think a tallent like that.....throw him in and see how he goes. It worked for Hunt and Williams...

Give him some time. Halves are the last position teams should rush promising juniors into.

Look at how badly Branighan and Dorn got f*cked up by thier clubs pushing them into the NRL about a year or two underdone.

I heard Ricky Stewart in the start of the year on radio say that Soward had a shoulder op. (maybe a reconstruction) in the off season. He said that he has 1st grade skills at the moment but he has not got the body to go with it at the moment. I think he said 2006 we should see him after he puts some more weight on and that will help him improve when he is defending.

Shoulder surgery off season. Expected back around round 6. Weighing only about 85 kg the current theory seems to be he is still too small for firsts. Can play a bit though.

85kg isn't that light... Lockyer is only 86 I think....

...unless Soward is really tall or something...

Soward had his first run tonight off the bench in Premier league.

He will play first grade sooner than later.

He's just come back from a shoulder injury. Similar to Benji Marshall, because they're both so small they'll get shoulder problems from tackling the big boppers if they get rushed into 1st grade too early.

He'll be training with the 1st graders this year but I think you'll see a lot of him in a year or maybe 2.

Even with an injury in the halves (heaven forbid) we'd still move wingy to 5/8 and lose nothing with stu webb at hooker, he can play that kid.

Yo Raider 69, I'm not having a go but can you blame Finch and Monaghan for leaving Canberra.

You guys were a power Club before SL, since then you have struggled.

Don't you reckon those blokes deserve a go?

hmm... Soward's pretty small.. According to his profile at the Roosters site, he is 165cm tall. The same height as Allan Langer..
