Can anyone tell me where Rory O'Brien (2008 Toyota Cup front Rower) has ended up?

I was really disappointed when I heard he had left the game. He literally was our No. 1 talent for that first year. Henry / Kennedy's / Mundine were all in his wake. And as a prop, that meant something!

I'm still not sure about that.
I personally believe Merrin & Hancock will both go further than what Rory would have gone.
Not to say he didn't have some talent, but I think the 2 guys I mentioned will be better than what Rory would have been.

Rory O'Brien is playing the 2013 season with Collegians in the Illawarra competition, I watched him play against Shellharbour 2 weeks ago he had a blinder, great player still not too late for someone to sign him ???????

There's a lot of former NYC graduates playing in the Illawarra league. Well maybe he will get picked up by the Cutters next year and then who knows what might happen after that.

Looks like Rory is about to join BA at Parra, anybody think he is worth giving a 1 year contract too?

O'Brien is under contract till the end of next year.

we have already released three players to Parra/Wentworthville before their contracts expired, may happen again with O'Brien. he hasn't done much this year and it will be harder for him to make the grade with reduced interchange...but who knows, maybe he will be motivated by a change of scenery and one year left on his contract.
