So, the NIF's went into service today for the first time.
It's funny hearing Transport Jo singing their praises considering they spent their whole time in opposition complaining about them and making bullshit stories up about built overseas/tunnels being too narrow etc.
Also interesting to hear the commentary in this video about door technology being removed from these trains which we all knew was happening.
The reasons though are a blight on the NSW branch of the RTBU, the same union that actually allow this technology in other states on trains that don't have or need guards. I use that word "guards" loosely. It's actually a contradiction in terms.
Anyway, these new trains look and sound sensational.
