TODAY Executive sports editor Phil Rothfield will reveal why Eels coach Daniel Anderson has continually overlooked one of the most gifted players in the NRL.

Today I will reveal why Eels coach Daniel Anderson has continually overlooked Feleti Mateo, one of the most gifted players in the NRL.

There were suggestions last night that Anderson may even rush the gifted ball-player into Friday night’s blockbuster against the Tigers.

One thing is for sure – he won’t be playing five-eighth because of Daniel Mortimer’s outstanding form.

The team has been playing like a well oiled machine for weeks, why should DA be in such a rush to tinker with it. Mateo will most likely get a go in the coming weeks if injuries and form require him to. Rothfield is a goose if he sees a story in a coach sticking with the winning formula.

Rothield is a dead set looser and a coward. Everytime I right a comment on his blog that has a good point in countering his point of view, he never publishes it.
