I just rang the new CEO Paul Osborne to answer this question. He says they are in negotiations with both players. Obvioulsy there are salary cap issues to consider. I mentioned earlier about all the money being spent on Poore, Tahu, Shackleton and upgrading Hayne. I think the club is hopeful of keeping both players but I’ve got my doubts because of salary cap pressure.

You sound like Today-Tonight or ACA, taking on the soft targets. The guy was injured. When he played at 5/8 he was crap. Keep him as a ball playing lock = win. How hard is it???
Why don’t you front the media up, Media Watch style, on why there are reports from both tele and SMH over why Inglis is a nice guy and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Yet when it was Bird, character assassinations were coming thick and fast. Why is inglis protected?

Rothfield thinks he is a genius because Smithy is gone, as he so 'exclusively' predicted FFS, and Stoney is our new coach. The man is so up himself it defies logic. Between him and Wilson, his equally arrogant offsider, they are something to behold. Mateo is the X factor for Parra's finals charge. Why rush him back? It's not like you need to.

Best damned dog story I ever heard!

Three dogs are sitting in the waiting room at the vet's when they strike up a conversation.

The black Lab turns to the chocolate Lab and says, "So why are you here?"

Mate, I watch Channel 10 sport and then switch over to Channel 7. I gave up watching Channel 9 sport along time ago. I’m not into beat-ups. The other stations have quality sports journalism. Nine had a story that Matty Johns was going to coach Newcastle three weeks ago. The same reporter led his news bulletin six months agao that Mundine was about to sign up to fight Danny Green. It’s rubbish. I’m not interested in Mundine, $onny Bill, Khoder Nasser. As for hayne, I’m very confident he’ll be signing to remain at Parramatta before the finals.
