If we have Picker/Butts or Tongue in the 7 we might have a 1-0 or 2-1 scoreline.

Id have the team that Proud has , its spot on. If Ferguson is out Im happy to have Milne on the wing.

This will be a gritty game , I cant see a blow out score , not for the 1st game. Orford hasnt played for 9 months and hasnt played a game with his new team mates. I see the boys been fatigued at the back end of both halves. And the Sharks always give a run for our money , i dont know what it is but we struggle against them.

Raiders win. Dont care if its by 1 point

My son's team is first up for the curtain raiser this year and as they are also coaching by the Raider's U16 coach they are a shoe in to win

As for the main game Raiders 24 Sharkies 14.

Waddell was sen to SL for the last trial , so from that Id say he is behind both Butts and Tongue.
He'll get his chance again , I think he is too good for SL

Furner has a fascination with having an extra forward for the first 20 minutes

As long as Tongue doesn't play more than that I think we should be fine
