Waddell was sen to SL for the last trial , so from that Id say he is behind both Butts and Tongue.
He'll get his chance again , I think he is too good for SL

I asked about Travi at the trials in Tamworth, and he said he was sent to SL for more game time. I won't say who it was incase he spoke out of turn, so to speak.

Thanks for that Dreming 09 , Its not going to hurt him , he has the talent to make it.
We expect young players to come into FG from TC and play at a consistant FG level. thats not realistic IMO.

You can have the biggest, fastest, most experienced team, but if they go out with a lazy a*** attitude you still going to loose.
Omg did anyone see them play the trial game at Tamworth first half.
Please no more games like that. The membership 2012 depends on how the Raiders go this year.

According to foxsports news - Orford will not play with sam Williams coming into the team. Allan tounge will shift into halfback with buttris moving in at hooker off the bench.

This game will be quite close.

Raiders have a pretty average record at home against the Sharks.
True. I had the displeasure of sitting behind the sharks army (or whatever they call themselves) singing their stupid songs about three years back and we were on the end of an upset by the sharks then. And of course it was freezing.
But still a good night.

Is Fensom gonna be an 80 minute player like he was at the start of last year?

I'm guessing this is for fantasy league purposes?

Yeah Fensom should get simular game time to last year. Although I don't think he played 80 minutes that often. He used to rotate with Thurling and Tongue.

Should still get a bucket load of points.

I really worried about this game now, with Dugan in doubt and Orford out I think we may be disorganised out there. :(

Even at fullstrength it would have been a tough game as Orford is yet to play a game with our team.

Dugan is out with a calf strain and Milne is in to replace him. This has me very worried because Milne, as enthusiastic as he is, has at least three big errors in him per game.

I'll be stoked if we get away with this one.

David Milne, whilst not in Dugan's class, obviously, is a bloody good player. I'm predicting him to have a blinder, and the Raiders staff have HUGGGGGGGGEEEEE wraps on Blake Ferguson...

Blake Ferguson confirmed what I have been told by the Raiders coaching staff. He is a good 'un.
Josh McCrone/Thomas LL/ Fensom/Williams and Croker were fantastic is a good team effort. Well done

In saying that though..Cronulla will run LAST, again...

Yeah but take our any teams key play makers (of which we lost all our starters, and even Tongue at Hooker a few minutes in) and I would be surprised to see them win.... Tell you what, next week lets see the Dragons field a team against the Sharks minus their hooker, half, 5/8, and fullback first picks... I'm pretty sure they would lose...

Awesome effort form the boys! GO THE RAIDERS!

I can't help but feel sorry for McCrone and Milne though.... For Milne, he wouldn't get in anywhere unless there is an injury yet in any other club he would be a first pick... For McCrone, with Williams going as well as he is, Campese coming back.... I can't see him finding a starting spot either, regardless of how well he has been going recently :(

Maybe they could both bulk up a little and become super subs off the bench?

Oh and I wasn't that keen on the Ferguson signing but f**k me that boy can catch a ball well.... He is the perfect match for Vidot on the other wing!

That match by Williams was probably the best we have seen in the halfback jersey since Ricky. Ferguson is proving to be an awesome signing as I expected, he did the right thing in moving clubs as he was getting a lot of ball in particular in the air which I didn't see much of when he was at the Sharks. McCrone looked good in the 6 jumper which was expected given that is his natural position and it's hard to know if his kicks were planned or not but they certainly did the trick.

Anyone know the extent of Joe's leg injury? Looks to be a knee injury and he was having an awesome game until he got hurt.

Have to say I was extremely nervous about this game, especially when we gave up the first try but this Raiders team is a good un' and man do they look determined and focused.

We did a demolition job without four of our best players (Tongue, Dugan, Campo and Orford).

I hope Joe's injury isn't too serious because he's starting to remind me a lot of one Brad Clyde.

Its amazing how the team looks with a halfback. Despite the great run we had last season we've been desperately missing a player capable of the precision and organisation that Williams showed today. I thought there was a great balance between the halves which usually only happens when campo isnt playing. Either way it was a very stable performance from a debut half and great to see.

They said on Fox Sports that it was just a corked thigh. They also stated that Tongue's shoulder injury was a "higher grade" AC injury but they can't be certain until after they get scan results tomorrow :(
