The 2 most impressive teams so far have been the Dogs and Bunnies. Teams that have some monster forwards. The reduction to 8 interchanges hasn't seemed to worry them.

Dogs yes. But we're bunnies hot or roosters pretty poor? I reckon Souths ok and roosters terrible, a couple of those tries were just from shockingly terrible defence not good footy from Souths.

Apart from the younger burgess I reckon our pack is bigger

Our back rowers are average size at best.

after watching Pauli tonight i think the club made the right choice letting him go. He is just a dumb footballer.
Gave away a couple of stupid penalties, knock ons and was put on report.
Good move BA.

I don't count 13 as back row....which is a bit stupid I guess.

I don't really think of 13 as a back rower either. They're no longer at the back of scrums, so now when I hear 'back row' I think 'edge forward'. Jerseys 8, 10, 13 and most/all of the bench are just middle forwards. They just play different numbers of minutes and get the ball in different situations.

Was just trying to make point the Souths pack isn't as big as some think. We are as big or bigger.

Without looking at each player, I reckon probably the only really big pack is the dogs and maybe warriors, then most are pretty seem with a couple of lighter ones.

All in, most packs are pretty similar in size.

Just got home from work and am watching the Rabbits/Roosters game. Inglis scores a simple looking try through some soft as f**k defence, and the commentators have blown their load all over the place. I don't see what was so good about it.

Good to see big Nathan Davis go well on debut. He had a pretty easy time of it behind the Titans' forward dominance.

Did the dogs look really good? Manly were poor, dropping the ball constantly, no direction from their halves, and their talked up forward pack were really soft. Sure Taupau has increased his workload but that has taken away from his explosiveness, but then I guess it's swings and roundabouts as he now can play more than 5 minutes before sucking in the big ones.

The dogs tries were from simple plays and I think once they come up against a better pack they won't be as dominant.

Dogs looked great. No real errors, crisp passing and forwards just tolled thru.
It is not the type of footy that wins you a comp but you play like this for the first 16 games and chalk up some wins so you will make the finals. Than you have the last 10 weeks to develop new plays and have less pressure while doing so.
Kind of what brisbane did last year - Even thou they blew it
