As I said, it depends on the importance of whomever they are replacing. Essentially, who is the halves partner in that game, because that is the merkin who needs to step up when his regular halves partner is unavailable. Backups aren’t relied upon to do the job of the starters they replace. If they were they wouldn’t be backups.

But yes, Trindall is also a good backup. His win rate proves that.
