segeyaro is the first player to score a try for 2 different sides in the nyc
Fai Fai Loa would have beat him to it wouldn't he - that game being played earlier (Fai fai loa played SG Ball and about 10 games of NYC for the Knights last year and scored several tries).

Eels 28 Warriors 26

A brand new Warriors forward pack struggled for most of the match, but their more experienced backline was electric with Bristow, Ah Van, Locke, Johnson, Likiliki all making big inroads when the forwards were struggling to get out of their half.

Eels looked dominant in the forwards but defensively fragile out wide. Bristow and Ah Van treated their right hand defense like pre-schoolers. A bit more organisation in the halves also helped the Eels grind the Warriors pack down.

Poor discipline didn't help the Warriors, giving away far too many penalties.

Parramatta centre Brad Graham scored a 79th minute try to give his side a dramatic 28-26 win over the Vodafone Junior Warriors in tonight’s NYC season opener at Mount Smart Stadium.
The home side raced to a 16-0 lead inside 15 minutes and led throughout the match – until Graham’s devastating strike.
That levelled the score at 26-26 with halfback Daniel Mortimer sliding through the close-range conversion for a victory the Parramatta players deservedly celebrated.
Earlier Vodafone Junior Warriors standoff Shaun Johnson had shown numerous touches of class, scoring two tries himself and producing a stunning chip kick which he collected expertly and then stepped and swerved past defenders before sending interchange forward Elijah Niko in for magnificent try.
That gave the Vodafone Junior Warriors a 20-10 lead and they were ahead 26-16 early in the second half but couldn’t withstand the Eels’ magnificent comeback.
Match details:
At Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland
Vodafone Junior Warriors 26 (Shaun Johnson 2, Siuatonga Likiliki, Thomas Ah Van, Elijah Niko tries; Kevin Locke 3 conversions).
Parramatta Eels 28 (Domenic Nasso 2, Albert Kelly, Mitchell Johnson, Brad Graham tries; Daniel Mortimer 4 conversions).
Halftime: 20-10 Vodafone Junior Warriors.

Leon Williamson went well for Parramatta. Missing knock ons by them, finding ones that didn't exist on the Warriors, and then blowing the pea out of the whistle against the Warriors but jamming it where the sun don't shine when Parramatta were defending. There's a massive gap between Australia's worst ref and this bloke.

How good was Shaun Johnson for the Warriors? Cross between Soward and Marshall at a junior level. Unbelievable footwork, but I heard he was kinda disorganised but his kicking was pin point. The Warriors forwards didn't really get over the advantage line that well, but the outside backs and the halves were very very good and nearly got them home.

The Parramatta fullback is going to be a star also.
